Carlos Polanco is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Public Safety Protection Agency, Inc. (PSPA), and a nationally respected expert in executive protection, threat mitigation, and high-risk security operations. With over 30 years of experience in law enforcement and private security, Carlos leads PSPA with a mission-driven focus rooted in operational excellence and client trust.

Beginning his career with the New York City Police Department, Carlos transitioned into executive protection and homeland security contracting, ultimately building PSPA into a premier agency serving public, private, and government sectors. His leadership has earned recognition for delivering elite-level protective services, risk assessments, and security training across complex environments.

Carlos holds a Master of Science in Administration of Justice & Security and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice Administration. He is a certified NRA Law Enforcement Firearm Instructor (handgun, shotgun, patrol rifle) and maintains active licensing as a private investigator, security agency manager, and firearms instructor across Florida, Texas, and New Jersey. His additional credentials include FEMA emergency management certifications and an active U.S. government security clearance.

In addition to leading PSPA, Carlos serves on the Board of Advisors as Security Advisor to BlackOak Energy, LLC, a management advisory and global supply sourcing firm within the oil and gas sector. His involvement reflects BlackOak’s commitment to delivering holistic, forward-thinking solutions that integrate energy optimization with elite security and risk management strategies. Carlos is a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association and actively involved in the International Association of Law Enforcement Firearms Instructors, the International Association of Law Enforcement Educators and Trainers Association, the Fraternal Order of Police (NY Lodge 911), and Alpha Phi Sigma, the National Criminal Justice Honor Society.
